Nimble Giant Entertainment is looking for a full-time Environment Artist
Our Environment Art team is on the hunt for a talented, dedicated, and passionate Environment Artist to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong world building skills using Unreal Engine, but also someone versatile and creative at the moment of engaging with other challenges related to Environment Art.
As a member of the Environment Art team, your job will involve creating AAA environments striving to achieve the highest possible quality of art within our games. You will work closely with your team members during development and in synchronicity with the art leads to ensure the worlds we create are top-notch, spectacular and engaging.
Responsibilities:
- Solid understanding of composition and world building techniques.
- Solid understanding of Unreal Engine 5 workflows and features for world building.
- Solid set dressing skills.
- Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 technology all around related to environment art.
- Knowledge of design principles and color theory.
- Knowledge of shading and texturing.
- Good with hard surface modeling.
- Understanding of architectural principles and composition and a keen eye for shape and form.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Positive team-oriented attitude.
- Risk taker and decision maker.
- Have a positive attitude towards feedback.
Big pluses are:
- Houdini and knowledge of procedural workflows
- Procedural texturing methods like Substance Designer

- Houdini FX
- Substance Designer
- Substance Painter
- Zbrush
